The membership year runs from October until September.
Archers cannot shoot at any club without paid up fees. Your membership fee covers your insurance to shoot. If you do not pay your fees on time, you will not be allowed to shoot with us (if you choose the AGB option and do not pay your fees, you will not be able to shoot at other AGB clubs either).
Depending on the Membership option chosen, fees paid to the club include either subscription fees to Archery GB (AGB), Southern Counties Archery Society (SCAS), Bucks Archery Association (BAA) & Milton Keynes Archery Club (MKAC) or Milton Keynes Archery Club (MKAC) alone. If choosing the AGB option, Disabled archers can choose to make a voluntary payment towards BAA & SCAS fees.
Eligibility for concession membership for any individual needs to be discussed with and agreed by the club prior to application.
For archers choosing to join AGB, the cost of AGB membership is £65 for 2025/2026 season, which can be paid through the club or direct to AGB. There is also a payment of £8 to be paid to SCAS and BAA. This is to be paid in addition to the MKAC membership fee. The cost to join AGB is now a fixed annual fee, which is due for renewal on the anniversary of starting that membership. The MKAC portion of the fee will remain on a yearly renewal in line with direct membership, so this will reduce across the course of the archery year. As this form is purely dealing with new memberships, only the price to join in November is shown.
Our fee structure is broken down into two payments for the year to help archers with costs. The first payment is due upon application. The second payment is due (in March) before April 1st 2026. Payment in full can be accepted upon application if you prefer. This membership contract is for the period starting at application running to the following September, both payments have to be made on time.
There are two options;
- All Tuesday sessions, indoor and outdoor seasons.
- All Tuesday sessions, indoor and outdoor seasons, plus one Friday session monthly from November to March.
Once we move outdoors again in April, we will look to reinstitute Friday sessions at a per session price.
